What materials are used in Hushabye baby sleep bags and pajamas?

Our baby sleep bags and pajamas are made from 95% bamboo rayon derived from organic bamboo and 5% spandex, offering a soft, breathable, and stretchy fabric for your baby's comfort. 

Our baby sleep bag filling is 100% polyester.

How do I care for Hushabye baby sleep bags and pajamas?

To best care for your bamboo products, we recommend:

  1. Washing in cold water on a gentle cycle
  2. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener
  3. Turn sleepsuits inside out before washing
  4. Dry on a low heat or lay flat to air dry
  5. If you would like to iron your products, then do so on a low heat setting

Why is bamboo rayon used in Hushabye products?

Bamboo is a miracle fabric! It has moisture-wicking properties which supports temperature regulation and is a highly breathable fabric which helps keep your baby comfortable in both warm and cool weather.

It’s also naturally organic, not requiring any pesticides for growth, and to add to that, bamboo can grow up to 1m in a day, making it a super sustainable material. 

Are Hushabye baby sleep bags and pajamas safe for my baby?

Yes, our products are designed with your baby's safety in mind. Our sleep suits have a snug fitting design to reduce the risk of suffocation, and features like the foldable footies and mittens ensure comfort for your baby in different temperatures. 

Our baby sleep bags are also designed as a safe alternative to blankets due to it's wearable nature. When wearing an appropriate sized sleep bag in line with our sizing guidance your baby should be safely cocooned in the bag with no risk of material covering their face. If the size is too big, and the neck line can go over your baby's face, please wait until they grow bigger to use the sleep bag size you have.

Additionally, we have chosen to use bamboo fabric for our products due to its naturally organic properties. Hushabye products were also designed to support parents living in warmer climates like the Middle East, with a material that suits the heat as well as air conditioned living.

How does bamboo rayon help with temperature regulation?

Bamboo fabric is highly breathable. It has moisture-wicking properties which supports temperature regulation, helping to keep your baby cool in warm weather and providing insulating properties to keep them warm in cooler temperatures.

What are the benefits of the 2-way zipper in Hushabye sleepsuits and sleep bags?

The 2-way zipper allows for easy diaper changes without needing to fully undress your baby or remove them from their sleep bag. This makes the night time changes much easier and less disruptive for you and your baby! 

Do Hushabye sleep bags and sleepsuits come with any special features?

Yes, our baby sleep bags were made with your baby’s growth in mind. All our sleep bags have poppers on the arm holes, allowing you to adjust them to be smaller if needed. Our size M and L sleep bag length can also be adjusted meaning you can size up if you prefer to have a product that lasts you longer. The sleep bags can be folded forward or backwards, depending on you and your baby’s preference.

Our sleepsuits also have great features like the foldable footies and mittens to make adjustments to suit your baby’s needs. 

Both sleepsuits and sleep bags come with a 2-way zipper which allows for easy diaper changes, making night time changes less disruptive.

Are Hushabye products suitable for babies with sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Bamboo cotton is hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin, making it an ideal choice for babies with allergies or skin conditions.

Can I use Hushabye sleep bags and pajamas all year-round?

Yes, our bamboo products are versatile for year-round use, providing cooling effects in the summer and warmth in the winter. Additionally our sleep bags are 1.0 TOG which is ideal for room temperatures ranging from 20-24°C. This is ideal for families that use air conditioning to control the nursery room temperature.

Where are Hushabye products manufactured?

Our products are produced by our chosen manufacturing partner in China who meet all our standards on ethical manufacturing, such as OEKO-TEX and FSC forest management, alongside several conformity certifications for producing baby textile products. Safety and quality are of core importance to Hushabye, and we have selected the best manufacturing partners to provide this through our products.

Do you offer any guarantees or return policies?

Yes, we offer a satisfaction guarantee and a hassle-free exchange and return policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, then you are within your rights to request an exchange or refund. This must be requested within 7 days of receipt. Yes! Bamboo is a sustainable and eco-friendly material, with bamboo growing up to 1m a day, making our products an environmentally conscious choice.

Hush Club Rewards

How do Hush Club Rewards work?

Join Hush Club for free and earn 5 Hush Points for every 1 AED you spend. 100 points = 1 AED off, and your points never expire. You can also earn points for following us on Instagram (500 points), on your birthday (1,000 points), and when a friend shops with your referral link.

Where can I earn and use my points?

You can earn points on hushabye-baby.com and at Hushabye pop-ups that we run ourselves, just give us your email at the till. Points can only be redeemed online at hushabye-baby.com, not in person. Purchases through third-party retailers or at events run by other organisers don’t earn or redeem points.

How do I see my points and redeem them?

Sign in to your account on hushabye-baby.com with the email you shop with. Your balance shows there, and you can choose how many points to redeem and get a discount code for checkout. Guest orders don’t earn points, so please sign in each time.

What can I use my points on?

Everything in our range, including gift boxes and bundles. Points can’t be combined with other discount codes, including the Hush Club welcome code, and can’t be used on wholesale or corporate orders.

What happens to my points if I return an order?

If you return an order and receive a refund, the points earned on that order (or on the refunded items) are removed from your balance. Points used to pay for a refunded order aren’t automatically returned, so please email hello@hushabye-baby.com and we’ll sort it out.

I shopped before Hush Club Rewards launched. Do I have points?

Yes. We’ve added points for your past orders on hushabye-baby.com, so you’ll see a balance when you sign in. Past in-person purchases may not be reflected if they weren’t attached to your account. Email hello@hushabye-baby.com and we’ll take a look. We may update the programme from time to time, but we’ll always keep the points you’ve already earned.
